Our rental program is built and run by music educators, not sales reps.
Because we teach every day, we understand what students need, what teachers prefer, and how important it is for students to begin their musical journey with an instrument that inspires play, not frustration.

We provide our students with respected instrument brands preferred by music educators and Band Directors. We are proud to offer Jupiter, Yamaha, Con-Selmer, Franz Hoffman, Stentor, Ibanez, and Fender to our students.
Rental Questions & Answers
Is there a minimum rental period?
Yes. Band and orchestra instruments require a 3‑month minimum rental. Guitars and keyboards require 1 month.
Can rental payments apply toward purchase?
Yes. 100% of your first 12 consecutive months’ rent can be applied toward the purchase of the instrument you’re renting.
What if my child needs a different size violin or cello later?
You can trade up to the next size at any time at no additional cost, while keeping your rental equity.
Do you offer an Instrument Protection Plan?
Yes. For $8 per month, our IPP covers repairs, string replacements, re‑corking, dent removal, and key adjustments. If repairs are needed, we’ll provide a loaner instrument when available, so your child doesn’t miss a beat. Please note: IPP does not cover lost or stolen instruments or cases, or damage from abuse, negligence, or misuse. Coverage decisions are made by a VMS technician.
Do I need to buy accessories separately?
Yes. Each instrument requires care in order to operate correctly.
What if my child decides to stop playing?
After the minimum rental period, you can return the instrument at any time with no further obligation.
