Village Dojo rewards musical progress using a karate belt style system.
Village Dojo Dog Tags range in degrees from White to Black. Each student is given a Dojo Dog Tag with the color corresponding to their current level of achievement. With a clear path and measurable goals, students stay engaged and motivated as they advance levels.
Completing each Village Music Dojo level, students improve their technique, musicianship and repertoire while gaining greater knowledge of theory, composition and musical interpretation.
